Patient Prep

01Patient Prep

We follow a non-invasive approach that avoids costly headlight replacements requiring bumper removal and disruption of factory seals. Instead, we treat the patient in place.

By keeping the headlight housing factory-mounted, we preserve the vehicle’s original alignment and structural integrity. No heavy tools, no broken clips—just a precise, localized treatment that respects the integrity of your car.

Before the surgery begins, we ensure the operating theater is strictly controlled. We drape the patient to isolate the surgical site by meticulously masking off all adjacent body panels. Using high-grade surgical-style tapes and protective barriers, we leave only the damaged polycarbonate exposed. This ensures that our precision abrasive instruments never make contact with your vehicle’s healthy paint or trim.

The patient is prepped. We’re ready to operate.

Defect Removal (Resurfacing)

02Defect Removal (Resurfacing)

With the patient stabilized, we begin the corrective phase of the operation. Years of exposure to the elements create a layer of dead material on the lens—that thick, yellowed oxidation that obscures vision and compromises safety and style.

Using a series of precision calibrated abrasives, we perform a deep-layer resurfacing. This step methodically exfoliates the damaged, weathered layers of the once clear polycarbonate plastic, stripping away the defects and surface trauma.

We aren't just cleaning the surface; we are leveling it. By the end of this phase, the lens is officially in recovery—smooth, uniform, and completely purged of all environmental defects, ready to be restored to its original optical health and brilliance.

Post-Op Clarity

03Post-Op Clarity (Refinement)

With the defects successfully removed, the lens enters the critical refinement stage. At this point in the procedure, the sanding is complete, but the patient’s vision is still clouded by a matte, frosted finish.

This is where the transformation truly happens. Using high-speed rotational instruments and specialized polishing compounds, we perform Optical Refinement. We are essentially "healing" the micro-texture of the lens, smoothing it down to a molecular level until the cloudiness vanishes.

As we work, the polycarbonate transitions from opaque to crystal-clear transparency. This step restores the lens's ability to focus light with surgical precision, ensuring the eyes of your vehicle are bright, healthy, and capable of maximum projection for the road ahead.

UV Immunization

04UV Immunization (Protection)

The surgery is a success, and the clarity has been restored—but the healing isn't complete until the patient is protected from future relapse.

Freshly restored polycarbonate is highly vulnerable to the same environmental toxins and solar radiation that caused the original illness. To ensure long-term health, we administer a UV Immunization. This final, critical stage involves applying a high-tech, medical-grade barrier that bonds to the lens at a molecular level.

This isn't a temporary fix; it is a permanent protective membrane. By sealing the pores of the lens, we create a shield that deflects harmful UV rays and prevents oxidation from taking hold again. The result is a total recovery with a built-in immunity, keeping your vision clear and your vehicle’s eyes healthy for the long haul.
